Retool Apps not loading

Question / Description:
Starting this weekend, our users began to experience loading lags on retool. I tested my self and occasionally got similar lags or even the app not loading at all.

Details:

  • We have not made any changes to our apps in the last 2 weeks
  • The debugger does not show any performance issues
  • The issue seems to occur even before it loads any of our app configuration
  • Retool status page is not showing any degradation in the last 2 days

Considering that it started without any changes from our end, I'm wondering if retool has been having issues that are not showing up in the status page.

Our users are unable to consistently complete their job because of this constant lag. Please advice on how we can remedy this issue in the meantime.

We are experiencing the same. One of our apps that we have used for over a year wont even load.
Even the debug window is empty. So I can not even provide you with an appID

Please advise as users can not do their jobs.

Hi there,

As noted in the linked thread, our on-call team shipped a fix for this issue. You have to open the app in edit mode for the fix to take effect.
