Wanted to flag what appears to be a bug our team has encountered when trying to sort apps from our Retool account. When I select “Updated,” it seems like the values sort themselves based on numeric value (ascending or descending), rather than by actual time duration. In this case, “14 days” is randomly placed between “9 months ago” and “3 years ago.”
Hi @Jason_Ginsberg, welcome to the forum!
Are we still experiencing this issue? I'm unable to reproduce on Cloud.
Unless we are on Self-hosted Retool. If so, which version?
Hi Paulo! Yes, we are still experiencing this issue. How do I see what version I have?
If you are on Cloud, you are always on the latest version.
To see what version you are on, click your avatar from the home page:
Alternatively, click the button with the question mark at the bottom right of the screen:
Could you share a screenshot of the sorting issue you are experiencing?
I'm using * Retool version 3.122.0
Are the first 7 apps showing a star to the right of them? Favorite apps will always show on top. Therefore, we should expect favorite apps to be sorted first, then a list of sorted non-favorite apps below.
For example:
Ah, okay that must be it. That wasn’t the behavior I expected, but makes sense. Thanks for looking into this!
Jason
