Change color of cell after editing it

Is there an option to paint a cell that was edited to a certain color? (which will disappear after the changes are saved)

Just to be clear, there's a default functionality that puts a small blue triangle in the top right corner after editing a cell, and I'm looking for a background color for it.

You can use the recordUpdates to look up if value has been changed and provide a background. Note the background in image is from the column.
