We’re facing challenges scaling an app to accommodate a variety of viewing sizes. Many of these issues could likely be resolved with additional breakpoint options or the flexibility to define custom breakpoints as needed.
It would also be helpful to have percentage-based sizing options.
We explored the idea of using dynamic widths based on the viewport size, but it seems that this approach isn’t supported for stack container widths. Has anyone else encountered this, or found a workaround?
I am facing an issue where Retool does not support dynamically wrapping code into the width of the stack container. This feature is unavailable for dynamic values in Retool.
Hi @OLR and @WidleStudioLLP, we found an existing internal feature request for allowing dynamic component widths. We added your +1s to it and will update you here with any news.
I really appreciate the way to dynamically set properties, especially when these are used dozens of times across your application. Why? Well, it allows for centralizing certain values (i.e. settings) and then set these globally.
I was also hoping I was able to set the fixed width of components, i.e. in the context of the container.
