Says "A new update is available. Tap to update." Almost every time I open the app. No updates are available.
This is referring to the app that you've authored in the app editor IDE, not the native app container on the Play Store. It means that the app has been edited since you last used it.
The latest version of the app is downloaded in the background and will be used next time the app is opened. Tapping that banner is only necessary if you want to test the latest version of the app. Otherwise you can continue interacting with the version of the app that's cached on your phone.

I experience the same issue! while there are no updates in the editor IDE in my end, the app will always say "Update is available" similar. This is def a bug.
@Hussein_Ahmed, @ModutelUK would either of you be able to export your app and share it? It is likely that something in the app is changing but its not visible, like some metadata.
Same here. More often than not. Even though there hasn’t been a new version of the app

We've had this on most of our published mobile apps for a while now. I'm the only user with edit permissions, so I know changes are not occurring, but users still see the yellow 'update available' banner quite often. Here's a release history for one of our apps (last published in February '24), and I just got prompted on my phone with the 'update available' banner. I have used the app several times recently.
@AbbeyHernandez - I'll send you and @suparn a couple app exports. However, I believe it's happening on all our published mobile apps.

I am also having this issue. Seems like everyday the update banner is showing at the top of the app, and I haven't pushed any changes in weeks.
