We have a resource query, that exists, runs but does not appear anywhere in the left code pane menu.
It looks like the Retool ui has lost the display reference to it.
This is on prem V3.75.
How do we locate where the resource query is and more importantly, why has it disappeared?
I had this happen on cloud last week, not sure which version. I had created 2 folders within the page scope with a few queries inside each. At some point later the folders had moved to global and they were empty. The queries were working, I could see them in state and command pallette. I moved the folder back to the page via convert to page folder and the queries were back.
I agree that we need to find out why they have disappeared.
I was also editing a multi-page app, placing all the queries in the root of the code editor. At some point, I wanted to organize the queries and added the folders. Then moved the queries within the folders. I didn't catch the version at the time. I'm currently on v3.150.0-de0e242 (Build 226711). Looking back at my edit history, I believe I created the folders and moved the queries Jan 28th around 8:45-9:20AM, then noticed the issue around 10AM... if that helps support identify anything.
@peter.b and @matth it would be very helpful if either of you could share an app json with me (feel free to send as a DM if you don't want to post it here)
Checking in here! It's been tricky to narrow this down or reproduce it. If you can share an app export & the name of the query that could help expedite the bug fix
Quick update - one edge case I have been able to reproduce is a bug where if you export a module to a multipage app, any folder queries will not show up in the code panel. If you move the folder from global to page scoped, the queries will appear and you can then move them as needed
I'll follow up if I make any further discoveries around this issue
I'll mark this as solved for the time being, but please reach out if you're still experiencing this issue on Cloud! The recent fixes will be in the next stable release
