Crash on Alt+Tab and Queries Missing

Hello,

I am currently using a multi-page application, but have encountered a few issues that are making it difficult to work in.

Firstly, alt-tabbing or in any way focusing away from the Retool editor will completely crash the editor and sometimes the entire browser. This is not an issue in public view, but is consistent in edit mode. I have tried different browsers including Firefox, Safari, and Chrome and the issue persists.

Secondly, queries made before a certain period I'm unaware of, have completely disappeared from the Code sidebar. The queries are technically still there, can still be accessed via the hamburger menu, and the applications still work as expected.

Any help with solving these would be greatly appreciated, and I'm happy to provide any more information if needed.

We have the same issue. Changes also disappear even if we create releases to make sure they're not lost.

Regarding queries not visible in the sidebar, here's a related topic:

Quick update - one edge case I have been able to reproduce is a bug where if you export a module to a multipage app, any folder queries will not show up in the code panel. If you move the folder from global to page scoped, the queries will appear and you can then move them as needed I'll follow up if I make any further discoveries around this issue

What happened: The usual. I reopened the app this morning and the last hour or so were gone. The changes in the history were there though, so I simply have to revert to one of the last changes made the day before to restore the state of the app When it happened: 6:30am CST Browser/OS: Chrome Steps to reproduce: On app reopening

Yes can confirm that these are issues we are currently working on fixing. Any additional screen shots or video recordings would be helpful as well.

I am going to add this thread to our internal ticket and reply with any updates I hear from the team.

Has there been any update regarding a fix for the crashing? Now that you've disabled the ability to create single-page apps, I can no longer use my workaround of creating single-page apps first and then importing. This has completely halted all development of our application.

I haven't gotten any updates on the tickets. I just tried alt tabbing (I am on mac to its 'option tab') and the editor doesn't seem to crash or have any issues on chrome.

Are you running an older self hosted version of Retool by chance?

If you could share a screen recording of this happening I can pass it to our engineers to see if they can reproduce this behavior.

On the subject of the queries, could you share screenshots of the queries not appearing in the side menu? I have not been able to reproduce that either.
