Resource not updating after change in public Retool form

I’m trying to change the resource of a public Retool form.

After I change the resource, then save and publish, everything looks fine at first. But when I reload the form, it still shows the old resource.

Even when an end user submits data, it still saves to the old resource.

I checked the Network tab, and in the save request payload, it’s still passing the old table name.

Has anyone else run into this, or is there a step I might be missing?

Below are the steps and snapshots
1. When loading first, it shows this resource

2. Then I unpublish the form, then change the resource table name
changing and saving it to exit_interview_form

3. Then i click on publish again and then reload the whole form again it is showing again old resource selected

UPDATE: I don't know how I missed this initially, but you need to hit Generate form in order to point your form towards a new database.

The downside is that the actual content of your form will be reset, as well. I'll update the ticket I created previously to specifically ask for the ability to change the backing table without modifying the form itself.
