PGPASSWD Masked in Connection String - Retool Database

  • Goal: Trying to connect to my Retool DB remotely (because I have a CSV to import that is more than 3MB)

  • Steps: Clicked on Settings > Connection in the Database Tab. PGPASSWD is masked. I cannot log in without the password

  • Details: I saw in the post below someone else got this problem: Connection string missing from Retool database?

If you click the icon next to the string, it copies it to your clipboard with the password included. It just masks the view of it through the UI.
