Nothing happens at login android device

At the login screen on an android device nothing happens when the login is pressed. There are no other options to login with a particular account. We have tried reinstalling the app and deleting the cache but have had no luck.

The device is a google pixel 7 with OS version Android 14.

hey @Richard_Brosius1

Do you have any web browser installed on google pixel ?
Would be helpful to have video of the workflow.

Its not my phone but I will see if I can get them to take a video

@Richard_Brosius1

I saw your comment in other thread, can you please send me a video ?

Video in the comment is missing: (Attachment Login_Error.mp4 is missing)

Also, does your Android device have any browser (chrome, etc) installed ?

Hi James,

Can you please tell me where I can DM the video to you in case the below doesn't work? The video attachment seems to be getting rejected and removed from my message here.

I am not sure if this will work but here is a link to my google drive with the video:

The browser on the phone is google chrome.

Hey @Richard_Brosius1 what's the url of your retool instance/cloud subdomain?

Hello,

The url associated with my clould instance and app is:
https://divescheduler.retool.com/mobile/editor/DiveScheduler

Thank you!

I'm going to enable a flag on your cloud instance, it changes the sign in view in a way that may help it be more successful. Let me know if it works for that user's device

Thank you. The phone which was initially unable to log in is now able to log in however the rest of the users are unable to log in. Can we change this flag back?

Are there any other options?

We changed the flag back to normal an hour-ish ago. We're currently looking into a full fix for every case

@Richard_Brosius, are we still experiencing issues logging in on Android devices?

The issue with the orriginal user os now fixed but i am now getting this error

It looks like this was happening to another customer when they enabled the Beta flag 'Retool Mobile: WebView Login.'

Here is more context:

Let us know if disabling the flag fixes it.
