Login to Mobile App using 2FA when passkey is enabled

  1. My goal: to log into the mobile retool app
  2. Issue: 2FA is asking for a 6 digit code from an authenticator app when I have a passkey
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: tried different authenticator apps, tried resetting 2FA, tried different devices
  4. Additional info: open retool native app on mobile, log in using google credentials, taken to google to log in, taken back to retool, asks for 6 digit code from authenticator app

Apologies for the issue. That is very odd that the app is looping you through the flow successfully but that the last step takes you back to the login page.

My first guess is that you may need to reset 2FA, but you mentioned you did that. And to confirm, after resetting this, it showed the same behavior?

We may need to live debug this with you, I would suggest coming to our office hours where we can test out resetting this and setting up 2FA with you!
