Hello, I have a table where I had an interaction on click on the selected. The interaction open a new retool page with an url parameter : contract which is a number. I want to change this behavior and move it to an action column. It’s not the first time I do something like so it is not a problem.
The issue is that when I add the action on click, it does not save the URL Query Parameters to add so I cannot pass the number in the url. The button + to add new parameter is also not working on my side.
Quick question, what version of Retool are you on? I was looking to reproduce this and my table/column display looks slightly different from yours. Most importantly, I do not see a checkbox for "Persist params to next page" in your screenshot, which could be the cause of this.
Here is a video of me setting up the behavior via a custom column, set to type of Button and configuring the event handler. Let me know what version of Retool you are on and if you see the same options and are able to recreate this.
Were you able to test out the set up I had in the video I shared?
Or is the issue that you set up the URL query param fields but the values you put in do not save and when you re-open the inspector the progress is lost. Going from your first screenshot to be your second screenshot?
