Bug with table button open page parameter not persisting

Hi,

I think I found a bug where a button in a table that opens a page cannot have parameters set. The values keep clearing when the options pane is closed. Please see the attached video. Also below is a console error that seems related.

This has made our internal back office unusable. Could you please let me know if there is a workaround, or what's the process to get this solved?

Hi @MiguelOrtiz, thanks for noticing the missing content yesterday and apologies for the quick replies, I was on the go and didn't want to delay this. Are you able to open the links now?

Also, I'm new here, long time retool user but first time in need of support. Is there any way to get the retool team to look at a bug report? I can't seem to find anything but this forum, and my back office is stuck because of this bug. I'd love to hear back from them on workarounds or timeline to fix..

Thanks for flagging this issue and for providing the video and screenshot. It looks like you are currently using the deprecated table component. I can confirm that I'm seeing the same bug on our deprecated table. The good news is that this issue does not affect the new table component. As a workaround, I recommend switching to the new table component. This should allow you to set and persist parameters as expected.

For visibility, I'll mark this workaround as a solution for the time being. We've still logged this bug in our backlog so that our team can fix the issue. If you need help migrating to the new table or have any other questions, let us know!

Thanks, the new table fixed it indeed.

Dream would be an automated way to take an old table and replace it with a new table with the same configuration :grimacing:.
