It looks file only can hosted by 3rd party, any build in solution from Retool?

You are correct -- files will likely need to be hosted by a 3rd party.
In terms of hosting data, we recently launched a new product called Retool Database, where you can store data in a Retool-hosted Postgres database. Outside of this feature, any data being used in apps would either need to be hardcoded or called from some database or API query.
