I have just upgraded my plan for my self-hosted instance from Free to Team Plan.
I am now able to remove admin access to some users. However, I cannot create releases which is included in the plan. Is there something to do on my side to redeploy or is it a matter of time before it is available to me?

Do you have your Release Management enabled? Go into your settings, and choose Advanced Settings and scroll down to Release Management:

The feature became available without redeploying, it was probably a matter of time after switching to the new plan
