Critical: App editor does not load

  1. My goal: Edit the app
  2. Issue: When I click “Edit” button I see loading spinner, and than it stops spinning. No UI rendered.
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: Tried in Safary and Google Chrome, tried reload page with cash cleaning
  4. Additional info: (Cloud or Self-hosted, Screenshots)

The problem occurs only in this project.

Is this happening just to this one app, or every app on your instance? Does disabling multiplayer (in settings > beta) have any affect?

I don’t see the multiplayer setting in beta.

I remember seeing this setting somewhere, but can’t find it at all.

Hey @Healthspan_Technical - the setting that Shawn is referring to lives inside your org-wide menu.

If that doesn't work, you might want to try rolling back any recent edits made to your app via the _historyOffset URL parameter.

Am I looking at the correct menu? Because I don't have this option.

I tried different values for _historyOffset - same result.
The app itself is working, but the editor does not open.

Hi @Healthspan_Technical – can you DM me an HAR export?

  1. open dev tools
  2. refresh the page
  3. download the HAR

FYI this was resolved! There was an issue with a cycle in this particular app.
