I am using the New Table in my current project.
One thing I am finding is the Column Widths are not remembered when I leave and return.
I am attaching 2 screen captures. The first shows what I have set and the second shows what I get when I leave and come back to it.
How do I get the set column widths to save?

I understand your issue ,
You can use auto width from the table in appereance instead of you set that manual width. For auto width enable the automatic column width.

I have tried setting to Auto Width and it does not work well for me with the new table.
It worked fine with the Legacy Table.

You need to set the table width in the edit mode, not the preview mode. The width will be fixed for all users
