HI there!
Looking for help identifying any issues or clarifying if this is a bug.
All of our ReTool queries suddenly stopped working. This was about a week ago and we've been troubleshooting since.
(Originally posted stating is was the ReTool Database Query that was broken, that's been updated to all queries)
We're seeing that the error returns a "Query run failed." error, with an undefined message, see:
Here's a screenshot of that same id string in our table:
Thankfully, this is just a false negative as the queries look to be functioning in every other fashion seems to work despite the error: We can view and access data from the queries is mustache expressions, our select field's options are being populated, and so on.
This is occurring in all new queries, and all queries that also haven't been modified in a while. But this is not occurring in any other application.
My coworker has verified the issue on his end.
We are not self-hosted, we're on the cloud, and our tables and application are both in our production staging environment.
Appreciate any help!
Update: This issue actually looks to be affecting the output being given on all queries, not just the database query
Another Update:
I've tried duplicating, then exporting and importing as a JSON and the query issues persist on all apps that stem from the original.
Resorting to rebuilding the application, not sure wether to keep this open or not... I'll keep it open for now incase it's helpful.
Hi @daviswray,
Apologies for this issue. Very odd that you were given an error message even when the query was successfully adding the ID to the DB
From your last comment, it sounds like other apps are working. This leads me to think that something may have happened to corrupt that first app which follows as the app is imported/exported.
If you can send me in a DM the JSON for your app I can test it out further and pass it along to our engineering team to triage and see if we can get more details in a post-mortem.
For now it sounds like other apps are working, which is frustrating that you will need to rebuild. For which I apologize
Given that the 'work around' is making a new app, I can close out this thread and if any other users find this helpful they can chime in/DM me their JSON if needed.

Hey @Jack_T,
Appreciate it and no biggie, happens. Didn't take me too long to copy and paste everything over. The good news is that it's all working on the new app and we've been able to move past it
