Apps are loading extremely slowly

  1. My goal: Run apps developed for Operations team smoothly

  2. Issue: Starting today around 8 AM UTC our app has started slowing down. Now it’s totally unusable

  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: Turned off VPN, used different wifi networks

  4. Additional info: (Cloud or Self-hosted, Screenshots) Cloud hosted

Very very strange issue. Some Retool users are unaffected (no slow down) while others can’t get Retool apps to load at all.

Pls help urgently as this is affecting our production workflows

+1, there is no notification of this that reflects on the status pages either

We are investigating this issue, but we need more information to help us move forward:

  • Could you share some screenshots of what your dev console looks like when the page loads?
  • Would you also be able to share a screen recording & HAR export of your network requests so we can take a closer look?

With this information, our team will continue to work towards a solution

Thank you for responding. The issue is resolved as of 16 Feb 5:00 AM UTC.
However we need to know the RCA of this, how was this resolved and can this happen in future.

Our on call team researched this, but we did not ship any changes or find anything that suggested we had infrastructure problems on our side during this time :thinking:
