I used retool as a self-host type before and I am migrating to the cloud.
After exporting the existing app to json, I imported the json file in the cloud environment and migrated the app.
I imported the app to the root subfolder, but the app is not searched.
The app created with the create app function in the same folder is searched.
Is it a bug? Or do I need to set something additional? Please let me know.
Hi @songhui.baek,
Can you try one of the following and see what happens:
- Rename and save the app: Click Edit App β Click on the appβs name β temporarily change the app name slightly (e.g., add a space or suffix). Save the app.
- Move Between Folders. Move the app temporarily to a different folder: Right-click app β Move to... β select a different folder. After moving, immediately move it back to the original folder.
I tried both of the methods you suggested, but the app search is not working as before.
Hi @songhui.baek,
That is odd that the app is not showing up when you search for it by name.
Can you share a screenshot of the app in the app directory and a screenshot of the name typed into the search? I tested this out with an app I imported from JSON and I can see the app
This only happens in Korean.
root> '[νλͺ¨λ] νλͺ¨λ 컀리νλΌ' folder> 'μ€ν¬λμ΄ν HTML 보기' app. It's an app imported as json.
root> search> If I search for 'μ€ν¬λμ΄ν', it won't be found.
root> search> If I search for 'HTML', it will be found.
Ah I see, apologies for that.
I can make a bug report and let the team know! Hopefully we can get that sorted quickly. I will update this thread with any news I hear back on this ticket.
