WidgetGrid + legacy modal

got new issue with legacy model component, they are not opening on .open() function. also there is no way to upgrade to modalFrame

Hi @Chetan_Ram

Sorry to hear you're running into an issue here. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Is your org self-hosted? If so, what version?

Hi,
We are experiencing the same problem. We found out it's because the "WidgetGrid" functionality had been enabled for our users. As an admin we can toggle it ourselves. Seems like it doesn't work with the legacy modal.

Thanks so much for chiming in @AndreasF4F I'll reach out to our team for a bug fix

As far as using the new modal, we still don't have a migration process, so you'd need to recreate the modal from scratch. If you choose to do so, you should be able to copy + paste components into the new modal frame & then recreate the logic for opening/closing it (and attach a button component if needed)

@Chetan_Ram & @AndreasF4F if either of you can share an app json that would help us with testing

This should be fixed! :crossed_fingers: But if you're still seeing anything unexpected, the JSON export would be great

Hi Tess,
Sorry for the late reply. I've just tested it and it works! Thanks a lot!
Regarding converting the legacy to new modal, thanks for the instructions. Still I'm wondering if there is a plan to make a easy automatic conversion function in the future?
Best regards,
Andreas
