In retool menu, there is Back to home button.
When you click on this, it used to direct to the home in the same browser.
but now I click on this, it opens a new browser and this is a bit inconvinient.

I tried to turn off menu from user menu in branding setting , but did not work.

I'm seeing strange behaviour here too, in Cloud Retool.

Clicking "Back to home" not only opens a new tab at the root path ("Home"), but also redirects the current tab to the root path.
So clicking "Back to home" gets you two tabs, both back at "Home".
Ideally this button would take you back to home when clicking. What it didn't do was respect normal behaviour of middle-click, or command click, and open into a new tab, leaving the current tab unaffected.
So if we could have that, it would be very useful, as there's no way to get the "Home" open without losing the app you're currently building.

I see a recent change where "back to home" opens in a new tab. I will report this to our team for a fix

@hansontools I haven't been able to reproduce an issue where the current tab also redirects :thinking: What browser are you using?

Hi Tess,

am using Brave browser, with "Shields down". Brave uses Chromium.

Thanks it reproduces with a different Retool org that I have, so I'll request a fix
