Uppercase column names in the output panel

Currently, the column names appear as uppercase in the output panel. Although there must be an esthetic reason for this design decision, I would argue how this is very inconvenient for detecting the proper casing of column names. I would very much appreciate it if you would revisit this decision or give user the ability to set this casing based on their preference.

Thank you.

P.s. Not particularly a feature request, but rather a quality-of-life improvement.

Hi @emozio, welcome to the forum!

Thank you for your feedback. Here is a workaround for keeping the column names as they are at the database level:

Please let us know if this doesn't work for your use case.

Hello @Paulo,

Thanks for responding to my question. I was actually referring to the interface of Retool, rather than the table that is exposed to the end user. In my case, I can see the output of a query inside of a panel Retool provides, but all columns are formatted as uppercase, rather than any actual casing. This must be esthetically more appealing, but I personally find it quite distracting and hard to read whenever column names have different casing.

Thanks for clarifying! I extended your feedback internally. We'll update you here with any progress on this feature. :slightly_smiling_face:
