I'm wondering if you could use this workaround to watch for changes in the input and run a conditional clear selection event on the table if the userSelectedPromptId changes to undefined:
I'm not 100% sure if I'm testing your use case correctly, so if this doesn't resolve your issue, it would be helpful to get an app export
