runQueryForSandboxed failed

  1. My goal: Understand why this error is happening
  2. Issue: I have a workflow running on schedule every 10 mins, it has 4 branches all running in parallel and each one makes calls to different APIs, validates results and updates data in Retool Database. Over the past few days Ive noticed some executions failing with error: Error evaluating validateIncidentHistory: FetchError: request to https://gbnews.tryretool.com/api/workflow/runQueryForSandboxed failed, reason: self-signed certificate
Why am I getting this error? what does it mean?
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: Dont know what to check.
  4. Additional info: (Cloud or Self-hosted, Screenshots) We are cloud

My workflow looks like this on a high level:

Hi @juan.guerrero.gbn, thanks for reaching out! The self-signed cert issue is a known incident that our engineers are currently addressing.

Feel free to check out https://status.retool.com/ to see how things are progressing. The latest update from the time I'm posting is that we anticipate a very low rate of errors until a permanent fix has been executed. I will also update this thread once we have it fixed, which we expect to be within the next week!

Just returning to this thread to give an update that the previous incident is resolved. You should not be getting any more self-signed certificate errors, but please let us know if anything else comes up!
