I stumbled upon the GitHub - tryretool/terraform-provider-retool repository and seen that it's quite outdated and missing some resources, As part of my full time job im working a lot in configuring retool and wanted to help support this tool.
Since i want to work on this from my personal account that is not linked to my work computer, i do not have a retool instance and sadly cannot set up one easily on my computer since it's an ARM based Mac machine - i was wondering how would you advise testing the changes i'm implementing with the given circumstances

I'm excited to hear that you're interested in exploring our "Retool as Code" initiative! You're right that it hasn't been updated to be fully compatible with newer features and products. As far as spinning up a local environment is concerned, I've had success running a local Retool instance with Docker Desktop on an M3 MacBook Pro.
Do you have any experience with self-hosting Retool, in general? This is a good place to start and you can generate a free license key here. Let me know if you have any questions!
