Retool is getting very slow nowadays. Whenever I'm saving queries it is not getting saved
This keeps on showing Saving. Even for adding a small functionality, it is taking hours to me just to add queries. I'm irritated with this.
Yes. This happens with all queries and apps.
I'm using chrome, that's currently on latest version.
My OS is ubuntu 22.04.
I also tried on windows 11 and on firefox, Edge. but nothing worked for me.
I have tried this on my cloud computer and it works on that.
But the problem is I have to pay for my cloud computer, just because of the problem in product, why should I pay to any cloud computer?
I'm actually not sure yet, as it would depend on the cause, but I'll make sure to continue following up! Does this issue still exist if you create a new app (using an export of the old one)?
Of course. When you say cloud subscription, do you mean a Retool cloud subscription or something else?
And after some more digging on our end, it seems like this may be a networking issue. We haven't been able to consistently reproduce this issue, but we're still trying! In the meantime, have you tried a different wifi network? Have you tried using your cellular? Does restarting your router make a difference?
When I say cloud sub. I mean I have a subscription on neverinstall.com and this is my cloud computer inside this I use retool.
Yes. I tried changing on different networks and same problem.
I can clearly say, this is the networking issue because on my cloud computer I have huge internet speed and it works on that.
I just want to know why it's not working my browser when I have speed of around 700mbps. Is this not enough for retool? Or what's the requirements of retool?
Hi again! Just wanted to touch base with you again.
That should definitely be more than enough speed to use Retool. I wonder if different browsers would make a difference? I haven't been able to reproduce this issue lately and our team hasn't received any similar reports (which is good news and bad news, I suppose).
Do you have any users (using this same app) still experiencing this? This could help narrow down the source of the issue (location, browser cache, etc.)!
