I have a "Table2" component embedded within another "Table1" with Expandable Rows enabled. Previously, this flattened an array within Table1's data into multiple rows in Table2. Recently, within two separate apps, this embedded "Table2" is now missing from the UI but still exists in the Component Tree
I have not made any changed to these apps within the timeframe that these embedded tables disappeared. It seems like a bug.
That is indeed strange. Have you tried deleting the table and re-adding a new table (or copying and pasting table 2 before deleting it)? Or what happens if you add a new component?

I'm encountering the same problem. Presently, the only solution seems to be copying the existing components, which are still visible in the component tree, and pasting them outside the table and then relocating them back to the expandable row.
Moreover, it appears that the auto-height feature for inner components has stopped functioning properly, as I've observed with tables nested within tables.
With only two days left before my demo, I'm hopeful that the Retool team will address and rectify this issue promptly.
It appears that this bug has impacted all repeatable components, not just the expandable rows. Additionally, despite the inclusion of entirely new components, the UI of inner components is broken.

Turning off WidgetGrid completely solves the issues.

We are investigating internally as well for a fix so that you can still use widgetgrid
