Description
When building complex UIs in Retool, users often encounter accidental dragging or resizing of components, especially when working on crowded canvases. This can lead to layout disruptions and requires additional time to fix. A “lock” feature would help maintain the integrity of the design during modifications.
I suggest to add a “Lock” option in the component’s right-click context menu or settings panel.
How it looks like
• Locked items cannot be moved or resized.
• Display a visual indicator (e.g., a padlock icon).
• Remain fully functional during preview and runtime.
• Unlocking a component would require disabling the lock via the context menu or settings panel.
