Inviting Users from a different Google Worksapce

Business Plan - Monthly

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to invite users to join our Retool organization, but they’re on a different Google Workspace domain than ours. When they try to accept the invite and sign in with Google, they encounter the following error:

I’ve already added their Google Workspace domain to the Internal Domains list under the External Apps settings page.

Is there any other configuration needed to allow users from another Workspace domain to join, or is this a limitation of the Business plan?

Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Thanks for reaching out! From what I understand, this might be due to a limitation in Google’s OAuth policy. Can you try this workaround?

  1. Ask your invitee to sign up using email and password instead of Google SSO.
  2. After they log in, have them link their Google account from their Retool user settings.
