I have never worked with custom components in Retool yet, but would changing the "name" value be what you are looking for?

Hey @jk2K, that's not currently possible but we are looking to add this functionality. As this feature is in Beta, it's not currently fully fleshed out. I've linked this topic to our internal ticket and I'll update you here when I have any news!
