Group by Dynamic Columns

The group by method is available on the toolbar button of the new table. Like the filter button, it is flexible and easy to add.

However, there seems to be a bug with dynamic columns.
I understand people have requested to be able to group by dynamic columns. and it is on the roadmap.

Until it is available, can you please hide the dynamic columns in the drop-down of the group by button? It isn't very clear for the user. They can see the columns and attempt to add them to the group but nothing happens.

I have a huge table with 300 columns. Because of the source I need to use dynamic columns. I will be great when grouping by dynamic columns will be available.

Great suggestion, I can file a feature request for this. I agree it is confusing if the dynamic column names appear but are not usable.

You are correct that it is on our roadmap and for the time being we should make the 'group by' feature easier to use and not confuse users into thinking it is broken :sweat_smile:
