I would like to see if someone handles in detail the integration of retool with github, I have tried the mentioned in Connect to GitHub without success, it leads me to a site in github with error 404, so if someone has a detail of each step to follow I would appreciate it.
Hey mpuga! Not sure exactly where you are getting stuck but I'll share some screenshots of the two ways of authenticating.
- Person Access Token:
- You can create a token in your Github account on the Settings > Developer settings > Personal access tokens page.
- Select the permissions, expiration etc there and then add it in to the Resource setup page.
- OAuth
-
You can create a new app on the Settings > Developer settings > Oauth Apps page
-
Set the homepage url, and authorization callback url (grabbed from the Retool resource setup page). Then grab the Client ID and Client secret from Github and place them in the Resource setup page.
