We often deal with multiple columns containing the same type of data, sometimes many of them (e.g. monetary values, measurements...) and it's very painful to start each column from scratch, re-do the same clicks, type the same things... with only the data source changing slightly. The solution could be simply to duplicate an existing column, then it would be very quick to redo the mapping to the different source.
