I work almost exclusively within the Retool database at this point, and I am finding the built in management tool to be quite frustrating and somewhat difficult to work with.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a third party software that works well with the Retool database? Thank you.
Thanks for reaching out, @tomm! I'm going to move this over to the Discussion category, just because the question is a bit more open-ended and not specific to Retool.
That said, I'll second the recommendation for pgAdmin4! It's pretty simple but gets the job done. Is there any specific functionality that you're looking for?
It's probably worth noting that pgAdmin4 doesn't provide a graphical interface in the same way that Retool does, but it is a great platform for connecting to your data and writing SQL queries. Can you describe in more detail what you're trying to do?
I want to be able to enter, update and possibly delete data from my databases. When I use the Retool interface, it is constantly jumping all over the place and I just find it difficult to work with.
Ah got it - unfortunately, I'm not aware of a tool that emulates the same visual editing experience that you get within Retool. Does the existing interface just feel unfamiliar or are you experiencing something buggy?
