Currently, when adding both the Sidebar and Header to an app, the Header covers the whole width of the page while the Sidebar only starts below the Header.
Unfortunately, there is no way to adjust this so that the Sidebar covers the full height of the page while the Header only starts where the Sidebar ends.
Given that the column spacing of the Body & Sidebar is not equal, it is impossible to create consistent layouts where an item in the header starts on the same position on the x-axis as an item in the body.
To bring apps to the next level design wise, it would be amazing to have this kind of functionality.
I found another feature request for this ability to have the side bar take up 100% of the page height, just attached this thread to that feature request so it should get a bump for your engineering team and I will be able to reply in this thread with any updates I hear from the team
