Cannot Generate Images with Dall-E, only GPT-Image-1

It seems that implementing GPT-Image-1 image generation may have introduced some changes that are incompatible with the Dall-E models. Perhaps Dall-E does not have a “stream” parameter?

  1. My goal: Create an ‘AI Action’ query to generate images
  2. Issue: AI Action returns Error: “400: Unknown parameter ‘stream’”
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot:
    1. Followed the directions here: Retool AI image actions | Retool Docs
    2. Selected “simple prompt”
    3. Hit “save” and then "run” on the query
    4. Query returns error when run with “Dall-E 3” or “Dall-E 2”
    5. Query works when running on “GPT-Image–1”
  4. Additional info:

Thanks for reaching out to Retool community with this issue.

:beetle: I was able to reproduce this behavior on my own. I dug into our bug tracker and noticed this is a known issue at this time. It looks like its already in the backlog to get fixed so hopefully that is all sooner rather than later.

:plus: I will attach this community post to the bug tracker and reach back once I hear it is fixed.

Let me know if you notice any other odd behavior with those 2 AI image gens in the meantime, and I can add said details to the bug tracker.
