Hi everyone,
We’ve been building internal communication software and exploring different instant messaging software SDKs along the way. While we currently use Zoom, we’ve also been looking into self-hosted options that offer greater flexibility, data control, and branding customization.
Some of the features we’ve tested include:
• APIs for chat, voice, and video
• White-label customization
• Secure groups and file sharing
During research, I came across tools like MirrorFly, Sendbird, and Troop Messenger for Instant Messaging capabilities and Retool, which focuses more on building internal tools and workflows with integrations to multiple data sources.
It’s been fascinating comparing these solutions with traditional SaaS chat platforms. Has anyone here tried combining Retool-like platforms with IM SDKs for real-time internal communication systems?
