We are encountering a critical issue with one of our applications on Retool. Users are reporting errors that are not reflected in the audit logs, which has made troubleshooting incredibly challenging.
Our development team has thoroughly reviewed the logs and chained queries within the app but found no indication of what might be causing these problems. Oddly, the order of the queries shown in the logs does not align with the logic configured in the app. All queries within this action causing problems are connected via on success
one at a time, so based on my understanding, timing conflicts should not occur.
Adding to the confusion, the errors have not been reproducible during our internal testing of the same user actions. One user mentioned an error message involving an API query, yet the audit log showed the query executed successfully, and the external system also confirmed success.
This situation has led us to wonder if there are platform-level issues or hidden conditions outside our visibility.
We haven’t captured a screenshot or exact details of the user-facing error yet, but we’ll provide those as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered similar problems or can provide insights into what might be happening. This has been a frustrating experience for our team, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
