I'm just trying to add a component on one page, it's been working like a charm for a lot of other components.
However, now, when I do so, the component is not only created on the page I want him to be, but on all other pages, and it is not visible in the component pane.
That is very odd and looks like a bug. I tried to reproduce this but was not able to.
From the first screenshot, it looks like you are using the Plus symbol (+) that is at the bottom of the spacer component.
I have seen some odd UI issues with this method of creating new components in the past. I would recommend creating the link component from the side panel as that should work how you expect it to.
If you delete the link in the first page does it delete them in the other pages? Does deleting the spacer in the first page change anything?
Thanks for your message and sorry for my late followup!
As per your questions:
Creating the components from the side panel is not improving things
If I delete the link on the first page it does delete it on other pages
Deleting the spacer isn't changing anything
Here is a video (sorry for the poor quality, recording it made my browser slow):
However, it seems that a very stupid solution is working now: sliding the component down somewhere else in the page, and then back to where it is supposed to be placed:
That is such odd behavior. I thought using the side panel would fix this.
If you make a new app, does this same issue happen?
That is great to hear that you found a work around, although silly, where moving the component around and then replacing it works
It seems the video is no longer accessible for me. Just for the future, I recommend to everyone using Loom, as you can copy/paste the video URL into the forum and it is free to use.
