Also, is there a way I can be added as an authorized user to be able to use retool email. My retool org is karkir0003.retool.com

Thanks, @Karthik_S! I don't have a ton to share, unfortunately, as it's still not clear to me why you don't see the option to use Retool Email. It's not a matter of authorization, as every new org is automatically configured with such a resource. While not ideal, you always have the option to create a new org and subsequently migrate over your existing apps and resources. Before you do that, though, I'll remind you that a dedicated SMTP resource is definitely preferable for most use cases.

I'll reach out internally to see if I can figure out why you don't see the Retool Email resource. :+1:

To your other question, we do have a Stripe component that can be added to apps but don't plan on adding anything similar within Retool Forms. You can consider rebuilding your form as an app, though, if you do want to take advantage of that feature.

Hey @Darren :wave: . Thanks for responding. I just created a new retool org with a different email and when I go to workflow builder, I see "Retool Email" under available options. Maybe I created the account in question too long ago and maybe a backwards compatibility issue could have gone on?

Either way, I think I'll port over my existing DB and resources over to the new retool org. Minor inconvenience on my end, but we have something that works

It's not ideal, @Karthik_S, but I'm glad you have that alternative! I do think that your original org was created before we launched Retool Email as a default resource, but it still should have been created retroactively via a backfill script that we ran at the time. It looks like that script failed for a decent number of orgs, but I'm not sure why.

Even if you end up migrating, I'll provide an update here when this is resolved. :+1:

UPDATE: We've backfilled the Retool Email resource for this particular org! Let me know if you're able to confirm its functionality, even if you do end up migrating, Karthik.
