Could you send your app JSON to ibork@retool.com, or try re-exporting your app to Toolscript and reimporting it?
Some further diagnostics.
We host three tools on a retool.com instance. Two apps seem to be working fine. The third throws the Toaster error in edit mode. It does not throw the Toaster error in View mode, https://nsipesa.retool.com/app/matrix ; but it does throw it on https://nsipesa.retool.com/app/matrix?_releaseVersion=latest
Given that Did something change today? has also happened today, this suggests that it isn’t an isolated occurrence…
Oh, and don’t sent the ZIP of your Toolscript to ibork@retool . Gmail there will reject your email as a virus.
We’ve heard from a few other users experiencing the same error, and our Engineering team is actively working on a fix that should roll out to Cloud later today (they’re in the PST timezone).
In the meantime, the following workarounds have helped some users, though they may not work in every case:
- Refreshing the page a few times
- Using the History tab to restore a previous save
- Exporting the app as a toolscript and re importing it
