Hey Retool community,

We're excited to share an official MCP server for Retool! With it, AI agents can inspect and query your Retool organization — apps, automations, resources, users, and more.

This is a read-focused initial release for admins first. We're starting here intentionally and will expand capabilities based on what we hear from beta users:

  • Retool admins who want AI agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex) to help manage users, resources, and org settings

  • Developers using Retool's API who want a more agent-friendly interface

  • Retool builders already using MCP-compatible clients like ChatGPT or Cursor
