Retool MPCs strategy?

Hey,

As I'm starting to use MPCs to enhance my applications building, I wondered how much this topic jumped into Retool priorities recently.

Basically, MPCs would be a way to convert any prompt prompt into a complete Retool app, with the incredible advantage to be manually customizable afterwise.

I think Retool can have a great chance to compete with companies like Bolt or Lovable - but time may run quickly, and as a Retool power-user, I'm already starting to find cases were these solutions can be more effective...!

Would be glad to discuss ideas & product discoveries with teams if needed,

Hey @Laurin_Boujon1 - we are building a natural language interface to generate Retool apps (think Bolt or Lovable, but the output is Retool). You'll be able to try it in May.

Model Context Protocol isn't necessarily part of this, but there are potential integration opportunities. Assuming you had a natural language interface to build Retool apps, what types of MCP servers or tools would you want it to have access to?

First idea I had was Cursor! You can imagine plenty of other solutions, but this would be my main need today :wink:

If there are any early alphas you need testers on more than happy to try it out!

Having a Lovable like experience for building retools would be a game changer.
