Hi @Owen_Colby, welcome to the forum! 
I was able to recreate this issue by building the exact same workflow and a very similar App. When I run the Retool AI resource inside of the workflow, replacing the test data with actual text for ChatGPT to summarize, it works. But when I send the data from the App, I get the same errors you are seeing. I'll create the bug report internally.
