- My goal: We are building a new Retool mpbile app that uses barcode scanning with the ScannerV2 component.
- Issue: The mobile app is constantly crashing on an iPhone 17 Pro Max with iOS 26.3.1,
- Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: removed the component, removed event script
- Additional info: We have another retool mobile app in use, that uses the same component. This App works fine. Org ID: 1031889, App: Shopfloor App, Retool Mobile v3.332.0 Build 2567

Hello there @joerg.express, thanks for the report! The engineering team has identified the root cause of this crash and it will be fixed with the new architecture release for iOS, which we're aiming for next week. In the meantime, as a workaround, could you try switching to the Scanner V1 component? That should work while the fix is being rolled out, thank you so much for your patience! 
Hi @ChiEn, thanks for the update! Are there any news regarding the new release? We tried switching to V1, but every second scan, the camera image is black. That is not really a workaround.

Hey @joerg.express, thanks for checking in! Good news, the fix has been implemented and is ready to go. We'll be submitting the new release to both Apple and Google for approval shortly. Once it's approved, it will be available in the App Store / Play Store. Unfortunately, we don't have an exact timeline since the approval process is controlled by Apple and Google, but we'll keep you posted as soon as it goes live!
