Text boxes and borders

This is probably a really dumb question, but is there any way to put a border around a text component without using a container?

Also, is there any way to make the component square (without rounded edges)?

Not that immediately comes to mind, a container would solve both of your problems, is there a specific reason your trying to avoid using one?

No, other than it just seemed like an extra step that may have not been needed. Not to mention, when you duplicate a container and then try to move it, all the components break apart and you're left with a mess.

Can you make the corners square on a container?
