Support multi-year timescales in the Timeline component

I would like to plot a large amount of data using the timeline component. In appearance, the timescale selection gives options for day, month, year. Can you change that to 5 years or 10 years?

This is not something we currently support or have a plan to add to the product. However, I did link this conversation to a request to add this functionality.

  1. My goal: Get a broader overview of events on the timeline.
  2. Issue: I can’t zoom out further than a year.
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: Looked in the forum, only found a Feature Request in the App Building category.
  4. Additional info: After founding the Feature Request, there was no way to let you know that I’d love to be able to do this. Because I haven’t found out how to email you, I’m adding this thread.
