Totally understand why you'd ask given the introduction of the new app builder. I can't say for sure this request is deprioritized because of that shift, but it's fair to say it's part of the bigger picture: classic apps stick around for at least 2 years after the new app builder hits GA, but that's where the investment is heading over time.
In the meantime, the least painful workaround for classic apps is still prefixing series names with numbers (e.g. "1. Revenue", "2. Costs") to force the sort order, since labels default to alphabetical.
Just to clarify, is there anything specific stopping you from trying the new app builder for something like this? Curious if it's a missing feature, a migration blocker, or just haven't gotten around to it yet. Happy to help!
