Don't get too excited as I have no solution but wanted to have an open & candid discussion about it.
My use case is a portal to my SaaS for which clients/prospects require we use their respective SSO IdP provider to authenticate.
User base is 2-5 users per client and Retool Enterprise, only plan supporting SSO, is out of reach for us.
Below thread touched on it but got quickly shut down...
I wish Retool was more small-startup-friendly but "we" don't seem to be their prime audience.
Hoping this won't share the same fate as the other threat, so in the meantime:
what's your thoughts or legal/supported alternatives ? (no hack that Retool can "fix")
Direct message welcome
Also, hoping Retoolers will react so some/I know what to expect and decide.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your feedback on SSO usage. I completely understand how valuable SSO can be, even outside of an Enterprise context.
This thread wasn’t intentionally closed early—threads marked as solved automatically close after 30 days of inactivity. However, I've opened a feature request and attached this conversation to it. Expanding access to SSO usage is an idea we’ve been considering, and your feedback helps us prioritize improvements that would provide the most impact to our users.
If you have any additional details about your use case or specific needs, feel free to share them here.
